Vista not allowing me to change display resolution

#1 Post by BadAndy » Tue Dec 12, 2006 9:03 pm

I installed Vista Business on my T60P today because we have it through work. Video settings were fine on the external 19" LCD on my desk but when I got home and booted up, it was stuck at 800x600 and keeps giving me this error when I try changing the setting. Anybody else run into this?

I'm a Domain/Network admin so I have sufficient rights...I even logged on as Local Admin and get the same error.

Since you have a duplicate post, I am going to delete the other one.

Weird. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers through the device manager and it seems to have fixed itself. Now if I can get my Cisco VPN client to work I'll be doing alright!
