I would like to use Windows XP Automated System Recovery (ASR)feature. However it asks for a floppy disk. The solution posted by Microsoft is to send the data to a machine with a floppy and then make a diskette there. But you would need a USB floppy drive to restore the system.
Is there a way you can use the ASR without a floppy drive as my T42 does not have a floppy drive (but a CD/DVD burner). Will Flash drive work?
Also, found the IBM Rescure and Recovery program stops working after installing Norton System Works. Norton tech support told me the GoBack feature conflicts with IBM RnR. Is this real? Any solution?
