Upgrade X60s BIOS to 2.06 ... and no more audio ...

#1 Post by RUSH2112 » Tue Jan 23, 2007 8:19 pm

I just upgraded the BIOS on my X60s from 1.04 to 2.06. I've been using Lenovo's sound driver with no problems on Vista, yet after the BIOS upgrade, I get nothing... leaving me befuddled.

Have you gone into Control Panel | Sound and checked if the speaker was stilled checked? If speaker is not an option you may need to reinstall the driver.

I am on version 2.06. Sound works perfectly. I am using XP. Maybe it is Vista's problem?
