Does Anyone's Productivity Center Work in Vista?

#1 Post by cxls » Thu Feb 01, 2007 4:46 pm

I installed the Vista version of the productivity center, but it doesn't load at all when I try to run it. Does it work for anyone else?

I had the same problem, but I finally did something I never do and read the directions that come with the driverl!! (this goes for most of the drivers that one needs to update when running Vista).

Anyway the jist is delete any all all things (via add/remove - which is now hard to find!) having to do with Productivity Center.

Then d/l to a desktop file > Open/Expand that file > WRITE DOWN WHAT FILE LOCATION IT'S D/L TOO!!! (C:DRIVERS SOMETHING...)

AND THEN find the file in C:Drivers folder > Click the SETUP.EXE

That should do it. It took me more time than I'd like to admit cuz I didn't read the .txt - once I did - hey it works!

My current proplem is Sonic Solutions DLS driver that I can't get rid of....
