Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my A31p 2653R6U. I installed fresh win 2000 Professional a week ago and today I found that there is an issue with power management.
When I set not to suspend the system when LCD is closed, then after I press the LCD close-button (or close the lid) the system freeze and the mouse pointer dissapear. Only restart by pressing the power button helps. But if I set the system to go standby when LCD lid is closed, then it works OK (it goes to standby). I reinstalled the driver (BIOS is up to date).
Actually... before I reinstalled the driver the situation was a bit different - the system tried to restart (after LCD is closed in "non-standby" option), but just when the Windows 2000 displayed on the screen, the system freezed (during restarting).
Is it any way to solve this problem?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards,
Seweryn
