Installed Vista Ultimate, have some ?'s.

Well as I stated in another thread, I messed up trying to make my Tpad a dualboot XP/Vista (you can't unless you have a full version of XP, not the image on the HD. I used Gparted, not sure what happened but it reported an error on my HD.

I bought a Vista Ultimate Edition from M$, and after waiting a week for Lenovo to ship my XP recovery discs, I decided to try Vista.

Installed fine, but now when it starts up I get a Windows Boot manager. The choices are Previous version of Windows (won't work unless I get the Recovery Discs), Vista, and DOS.

Booting into WIndows Vista, the HD is 73gb for Vista, and a partition that is 600mb (IBM) with 188mb used. What is this?

Also none of the drivers worked except the audio. My ThinkVantage buttons, audio volume don't work. I am assuming I need a BIOS update.
IBM Thinkpad T61, Core Duo 1.80mhz, 3gb/256GB SSD, Intel, CDRW, WiFi a/b/g/bt, 14" screen, fingerprint reader, 90 Day refurbed.

The 600MB partition is probably your Rescue & Recovery partition.
