128mb FireGL T2 Vista, 1600x1200
Hey guys, new to the forum. I was looking for info on vista on a T42p with the 128mb FireGL T2. Ive read that it works but was wondering what resolution it could run. I have a UXGA 1600x1200 and was wondering if anyone was having any problems with this configuration. Also did the drivers that came on the Dvd work fine for the graphics card?
Is ATI not going to release any drivers for the FireGL series on vista.
If anyone is running this info would be great thanks.
Ryan

It should work with the max resolution, My SXGA+ screen displays fine on Vista however there's that annoying flicker problem. I'm using XP ATM

About FireGL T2 driver for Vista...
You can use the Radeon 32 bit driver for Vista, download from AMD/ATI's website. Yes, the FireGL T2-128 is listed in the driver list of the Radeon driver package (strangely enough).
I'm using the Radeon package driver on my T41p and the driver does identify my video display card as FireGL T2-128. No idea why the FireGL T2 driver for Vista isn't packaged as a separate driver package as it was for XP/2000, but it works very well at the moment. I'm using it and it supports external display configuration (which is great, since the Presentation Director for T41p doesn't work in Vista at the moment (because IBM still hasn't released a FireGL T2 driver for T41p to be compatible with PD)).
