Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and Intel SpeedStep ?

#1 Post by Puppy » Wed Feb 21, 2007 7:58 am

Has anyone tried release version (not a beta) of VPC 2007 on ThinkPad with Pentium-M CPU ? There were timing problems with VPC 2004 SP1 when SpeedStep is activated. The only workaroud was to set "Always On" power scheme to deactivate SpeedStep.

VPC is critical application for me so I still wait to experiment with it myself :) TIA.

It seems as it works fine on R51 with Pentium-M. Finally an improvement to VPC 2004 SP1.
