C3000 N100 Fingerprint software?

#1 Post by DonnieZ » Wed Feb 21, 2007 2:00 pm

Does anyone have any info on fingerprint software for Windows Vista?

I downloaded the Omnipass that works with Windows Vista, but it's a 30 day trial. That's great and all, but what fun is that?

Is Lenovo going to release an application for us that is not time limited?

I don't find anything else. Did you install the driver and find out that it does not include any software?

You can try the following, although the results may be unsatisfactory. Sometimes unsupported software does work on a machine that is not listed. It may be that you have to purchase fingerprint reader software such the Omnipass software that you mention. Perhaps Lenovo does not provide fingerprint reader software for their lower cost 3000 line.
