Vista / Rescue & Recovery / Virtual PC

#1 Post by rgrossha » Fri Feb 23, 2007 11:09 pm

Hi

T60p, Vista from factory. Created Rescue Media.
Trying to test the Rescue Media by installing it into a Virtual PC on the same computer. Rescue and Recovery hangs for a while, and then reboots. So, I'm getting nowhere.

Not really sure where to turn for support on this. Lenovo? If so, how do I contact them.

Your advice appreciated.

Rob

The R&R rescue media is not not designed to work in a Virtual PC environment. You need to test it on a real harddrive.

If R&R won't work, then if I want to create a Virtual PC with Vista on it, and all I have is the T60p with Vista, how do I do it???

Is it possible?

Thanks,

Rob

You're probably going to need a vista installation dvd. And then there's the license you'll need to buy.
