Network Bluetooth Fn + Switch

#1 Post by romka » Tue Feb 27, 2007 4:42 am

hi,

i just wish to enable the ability of my T60 - to press FN + Wireless button, and have the Choice of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth + Wan come up for which I want to turn on/off.

Must I install the whole ThinkVantage Access Connections ? or is there something small I can install?

thank you.

Well, I can say for certain you don't need access connections, but I'm not sure what actually adds that feature. My guess is the Productivity manager because of the window style, but I'm really not sure. Has anyone narrowed this down? At some point I want to reinstall Vista and at that point I will probably install one utility at a time until I get that functionality, that will narrow it down for sure.

System Interface + Hotkey gives what you want.

Install the Lenovo System Interface driver and the Hotkey driver. To install either of these, you must first have the ThinkPad Power Manager driver installed. All of these can be downloaded from the download page for your laptop...

Or use this link...http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... yle=lenovo

Slight correction. You need the ThinkPad (ACPI) Power Management driver, version 1.41 (as opposed to the Power Manager driver, version 2.01). They each serve a different function.
