Resize Partition after Using Recovery CDs

#1 Post by djpharoah » Sat Mar 10, 2007 6:41 pm

Hi - just restored my T41p back to its original state with the ibm cds. Now I need to install arch linux and thus need a sizable partition. The thing is I tried to resize the partition with partition magic. However as soon as I resized it and rebooted my windows xp partition was unreadable.

So here I am after restoring it again but this time I thought I would ask here!

Any ideas? I have a 60gb 7k60 in there and want like 30/30gb split.

PM can be finicky. You should hit the APPLY button after every single action, not go through the whole selection process and only then hit Apply.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
