Rescue and recovery error

#1 Post by jbilau » Thu Mar 15, 2007 5:50 am

I just downloaded rescue and Recovery 4 from website. But the installation stop in the midway presenting this error :
" Error 25005 : Error getting setup property value"
Same error on http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... ight=25005 but no response.
Any ideas ?

I cannot find anything on that error. All I can suggest is to make sure the security for the Predesktop Area in the BIOS is set to Normal, and see the System Requirements and readme below.
System requirements
===================
- Update your system to the latest BIOS
- 1.5 GB of free space on your hard disk drive (1.5 GB required for installation)
- 512 MB of memory recommended
- 8 MB of VRAM shared memory set in BIOS
- Microsoft Windows Vista RTM (Windows Vista)
Rescue and Recovery Readme

If you get it working, you might also respond to the other thread you linked.

Also found on requirements "8 MB of VRAM shared memory set in BIOS" but I don't find in BIOS how to set up it.
Again I found in my BIOS that HDD is set to Compatibility mode in SATA settings.
