Check out the BlueCurve theme ported from Redhat. I've been looking for a good theme for a while now, and this one is perfect.

I am using a slightly newer version, but I can't find a good screenshot of it.
BlueCurve theme
Bluecurve is VERY nice, I've started using it over Longhorn Aero.
On my system, there doesn't seem to be a difference between the "normal" and "small" startmenus. Also, even with the startmenu stacked to double-height, it only shows the day (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) and the time, not the date (09/26/2004, etc.) like the regular start menu.
What does the newer version look like?

OK, this is what the newer one looks like (Bluecurve 4.3) - this may already be the one that you are using.

Thanks again gte.
I got the thincurve 4.3 working on the new one. Might as well use the small taskbar if the large one still doesn't show the date
I actually liked the menu buttons with the gradients on the original version you posted, but I do think this one is cleaner overall.
