While l appreciate whatever help you can give me but to offer to help and then vanish is not the right thing to do!
I ordered and received a hard drive for my 600x and asked to borrow an O/S to see if l can get my laptop running again but all that l received was a series of no problems. I have been without my laptop for over a week now waiting on my fellow forum members to come through. If you can help me thanks but if you can't just say something so that l can go forward.

You know, some background on what is going on would more helpful than a general rant.

I (and many others) would be more than happy to help diagnose what ails your laptop. From what I gather you shipped it off to another forum member for some service and have not had good communications with them. Does that sound about right?

Have you posted requests for assistance in the 600 series forums? I didn't do a search in there by your username, so I am simply going on what you posted here.
