Working pci express vid card with t60 & Vista?

#1 Post by dandiep » Fri Apr 06, 2007 11:38 am

Has anyone managed to get a pci express video card working in their t60 advanced dock on Vista? I really want dual monitors which both run off DVI cables.

My latest attempt has involved an ATI Radeon 300 card in conjunction with my X1300. Both cards use the same drivers from ATI. I've tried all the different possible versions, including the latest ATI drivers (catalyst 7.3). No matter what though I get a blue screen of death which says:

NMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity

It definitely seems like a driver issue. I would happily switch video cards if people know of a better one that will work!

My machine is a 2007-64U (Windows vista business, core duo 2ghz, 2gb ram, etc).

Any ideas?
