Fancontrol for Vista

Has anyone found a fancontrol utility that works in Vista?

Both utils, TPfancontrol and PFControl work fine with Vista when you start them as "administrator".

tpfancontrol generally is working very nicely on my X61 with Vista Business, but I am seeing it crash (?) a few times a day; Vista displays a message "fancontrol has stopped working", and I then need to restart it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or, better yet, found a solution?

The only error I got on Vista Ultimate was "error loading...." I believe that happens when running as a service, and another dependent service has not started yet.

Seems there is no luck trying TPfancontrol in Vista 64-bit, because WinIO.sys can't be loaded.
