How to change clock from 24 hr to 12 hr?

#1 Post by billp117 » Tue Apr 10, 2007 6:48 pm

I give up...I cannot find the method to change from 24 hr to 12 hr clock settings. I looked in the bios and there is no menu and Windows XP does not give me a choice.

Any suggestions? I just recently picked up an X30 and this is one of the items I would like to change.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Windows XP does allow you to change this setting but it's not located in the obvious place (the time display in the system tray). You have to go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options. It should show what the current settings are. Click on the Customize button then the Time tab. Setting the format to "h" will change the display back the 12-hour format.

P.S. Don't know if this setting is restricted to Administator accounts or not. If you can't get to this menu, then switch to an Admin account.
