Can login and password be removed.
How can I remove Login Information?
Have a few laptops that have old logins and password. Do not know what the passwords were. Can I boot with floppy go to c: drive then remove the login info? Would the info be write locked?
Do not want any files from them just want to keep the original OS intact.
Thanks for any help.

Login as administrator, go to Computer Management or Control Panel and remove the users. Then go to My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> User Profiles and delete the profiles (they may have strange names as the userids were just deleted). That deletes the user folder structure in My Documents.

You can use Winternals to reset passwords. Not free, but then a Company should spring for it if the action is legitimate.
Optionally, find an NT CD and just start again. NT is very, very old, and given at least Windows 2000, not even useful any more. It should be easy to buy an NT CD (with the Key, so to be legal) from eBay or other sources.

Hi
I understand you don't know admin password to delete user's password.
You can use Offline NT Password & Registry Editor but REMEMBER: if your TP is connected to Active Domain after that operation you will have no access to that DOMAIN.
