Custom view in Outlook2003 disappears

#1 Post by dcouzin » Fri Apr 27, 2007 4:04 pm

I like Outlook2003 much more than Outlook2000 because of one feature. Outlook2003 lets me make a search folder, based on no criteria, which I call "Everything". This works like the "All Documents" view in Lotus Notes, and is great for finding messages. For Everything to be useful there need to be both "From" and "To" columns in the Outlook2003 view, and a "In Folder" column is nice too. These are easily added with "Customize View: Messages". My problem is that while Everything is permanent, its customized view keeps disappearing. Sometimes it lasts through a few reboots, but that's just a few days for me. It's a minor nuisance to have to reinstate the "To" column, but why is it disappearing? How can I make it stick?
