AddInMon.exe never seems to shut down correctly

#1 Post by synapse » Mon Oct 11, 2004 1:27 pm

Hi-

I am running Norton AntiSpam 2005 on Outlook 2003 with Windows XP Pro SP2 and I am having a lot of problems with Outlook. First, Norton AntiSpam will not show up after I restart from Hibernating, only when I Restart. I have to go into Options and deselect that plugin and then reselect it in order for it to show up. Also, whenever I try to shutdown or restart my computer I get an error that AddInMon.exe can't close correctly. I can't seem to find too much more on this on the Internet other than it is used to manage Outlook addins. Also, Outlook never seems to fully close. It will just sit in the system tray without letting me click on it. I do have activesync installed but I do not have my PDA plugged in or even have the cradle connected to the laptop. This is getting really annoying and I somehow feel that these are all interconnected. If anyone could help me here or point me in the right place I would be really appreciative. Thank you!

-Dan
