Has any one installed Vista on a Thinkpad A20m with no problems what so ever?

I have issues with the video card, and WMP11 videos cant play and resources being drained. Issues that on XP they dont exsits. LIke my Mp3 only works on 1.1 USB, my USB 2.0 card doesnt read with Vista, but on XP yes. In order to reboot fast from Hibernation I have to take out my wireless card.

I posted last week about problems with entering standby and hibernate...thanks for the tip that should've been obvious to me!

Vista on the T23 is probably similar to your experience, including video not being too hot.

How come you didn't keep the T43? It would have run Vista much better than the T23.

No doubt! When I found out I was expecting a child, I pretty much sold off everything I could. Then I realized it was unnecessary...but I've since curbed my computer usage and am now tinkering mostly with PPC's. Vista would kick [censored] on the T43.
