Window Media Player 10

#1 Post by akhavan » Wed Oct 13, 2004 3:52 am

Hi,

When I check for Help>upgrade I get the following error:

"setup_wm.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point SetupDiEnumdeviceInterfaces could not be located in the dynamic link Library SETUPAPI.dll."

When I click OK it works fine. I have reinstalled the program but still get the same error.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks

Sepehr

Did you do a complete uninstall before reinstalling? If need be you may try deleting the Windows Media Player directory in Program Files if it's still there after uninstalling and rebooting.

Yes, I did a complete uninstall and then reinstall . Did not help.

But today it does not do it anymore!! Can't figure it out why.

I guess its my lucky day.

Sounds like the day to buy a lottery ticket.
