T41p not sleeping with Vista Ultimate

#1 Post by Temetka » Mon Jun 11, 2007 11:46 pm

So as the title says I am having problems getting my T41p to enter sleep or hibernate modes. It will start to enter sleep / hibernate (it makes the beep) then just exits to the login screen.

I think something is preventing it from entering sleep. I do have the Power Manager software and pretty much all of the Vista Thinkvantage apps loaded. I am not using Access Connections. It's not even installed right now.

So any help I could get in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Note: It used to enter sleep / hibernate in the past in Vista. It works fine in XP SP2 and SuSE 10.2. I am unaware of any settings that I have changed recently, however I do leave room for an error between the chair and the keyboard.
