I just installed Vista on my Thinkpad T60. Everything is working except somethings with the hotkeys / OSD.
+ When I come out of standby the OSD for the volume shows up
+ When I press mute it mutes the machine but if I press it again it does NOT unmute it.
+ When I press volume up / volume down it shows it changing volume on the OSD but the Vista volume doesn't change.
+ The power button doesn't put the laptop to sleep when I press it. It has the option set in the power management to have it sleep when pressed.
All other FN + keys work as far as I can tell.
Anyone have any of these issues?
Anyone shed some light on these?
Thanks
Volume Keys and OSD
Re: Volume Keys and OSD
If left in the muted state when sleep mode is initiated the OSD will remind you that the sound is muted when you wakeup the laptop.seanism wrote:I just installed Vista on my Thinkpad T60. Everything is working except somethings with the hotkeys / OSD.

The mute button mutes only, the volume up and down buttons unmute.
The thinkpad volume buttons are independent of the Vista volume control.
Hold the power button in for more then 1 second to initiate sleep mode.
