??WORKFLOW??

#1 Post by SUSIEJO » Fri Jun 29, 2007 1:57 am

Can anyone tell me what the crap WORKFLOW is and why I am getting a "fatal error-this program will now be shut down"?

I fixed, formatted and freshly installed win 98se on several TP 600E's and all was going fine. I installed my bellsouth dsl program and went on line. I installed sygate pf and then proceeded to download Real arcade and some games. Then I shut down the computers. Later when I restarted the computers if I do much at all or it I go on line when I get back to the desktop if I try clicking on any icons or even the start button it will not respond. I usually can't even get to the shut down button.

Please any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

Tried Googling and Yahooing the error message and came up empty. Exactly which games/programs were downloaded and installed? Also, can you do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and bring up the Close Program dialog box and list the programs that are running when you get the error?

I'll try to post the programs that come up when the error comes up later but the only things that were identical on both computers were:
win 98se
bellsouth dsl
sygate firewall

I'm guessing it has something to do with the bellsouth or the sygate.
When I googled the workflow all I come up with is it has to do with microsoft software so I'm drawing a blank here.
I'll try to post the error and the programs shortly.
