Can't find an AV for Vista 64

#1 Post by jgrobertson » Tue Jul 10, 2007 11:13 pm

There does not seam to be an anti virus that work (at least correctly) for Vista 64. And, this extends to Windows LiveCare from MS, McAfee, and Norton sort of.

The Norton that is sus;posed to work in Vista 64, does not on mine.

Any thoughs on this?

Kaspersky seems to work fine for me under Vista 64, and it's free if you don't mind AOL's brand of it. I've found it to be an excellent AV with minimal footprint.

Check out AVG or AVAST. both have had 64bit versions (including free ones) for awhile now.
