disk keeper

i have windows vista and it came with this diskeeper. What is it exactly? Is it anything like we had in XP? Is it importnat or can i un unstall it?

It's a disk Defragmentation program. One can safely delete it depending on personal preference.

If you do have Diskeeper installed, and it is not trialware, I would keep it since it defrags 10x faster than Windows.

i do agree with stargate, it pretty much runs siliently and does a pretty good job, just one less thing to think about.
