CSS update 1GB?!

hi there!

i was just running the system update utility (ThinkVantage System Update), when i noticed that the Thinkpad Client Security Solution 8 is around 1GB (av liable as a two part download).

looking at the requirements:
- 1.5 GB of free space on your hard drive
- 512 MB of memory is recommended
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 1 or Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3
or higher
- 8 MB of VRAM shared memory set in BIOS
- 1 GB system memory for Hardware Password Reset NTFS (Windows XP)

has anyone tried this?

(it seems a little extreme for a system "utility"/"update" or is that just the way things are these days...).

Not that's not true. SU is displaying the download size of the whole package including all languages and as far as i remember including rescue and recovery.

When downloading it will automatically determine your language version of os and install only the appropriate update. If you don't want to download all this stuff by SU you can also get the package manually.
