um.. how can I install that SM driver?

windows update or system update don't see anything....

Normally you right-click on that item, select the Drivers tab, then click on Update drivers. Let it also search on the internet for new(er) drivers.

hehe, I tried that, but thanks. nothing. it says it can't find anything.

That is usually included in the chipset drivers.

Are you running XP sp1 or earlier.

This happened after the latest BIOS update.
I'll try to reinstall Intel Chipset drivers.

solved: I unistalled the driver, reinstalled the Intel Chipset drivers and now it works.
