Fingerprint driver on Vista?

My X61 is happily running Vista (clean install, not Lenovo factory) and I think I have all the drivers installed. However, if I look in Device Manager, there is an exclamation mark next to the Biometric Coprocessor, and the properties say:

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."

Which driver do I need?

You need thinkvantage fingerprinter software (it includes the driver).

It installs at C:\SWTOOLS\Apps\tfs5[1].6.3185

The link in the last post reffer to another thing and fingerprinter works without that; anyways, you must install it too.

You need the finger print software at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-66948 and the registry patch recommended by ryengineer.
