BSOD

is there any way to get rid of these blue screens of death? i get them when running some audio application and opening another one. it started since i bought external usb tascam us 122 audio card.
i have ibm r50e.

Yes, you can get rid of BSODs. You just need to troubleshoot them to find out what is causing the errors, though it sounds like you already have a pretty good candidate.

When the error occurs write down the error number and all of the parameters after it, and if a driver is mentioned write down the name of the driver.

Then go here http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm or to the Microsoft Knowledge Base and look up the error to see what the problem is.

You can also Google the newsgroups for the error number and the driver, or the error and tascam, or BSOD and tascam.

Once you figure out which driver or driver module is causing the errors look for updates or patches on the manufacturer's web site, or by Googling.

If you are toally lost after trying that post the error information here and I'll try to help.
