My touchpad now scrolls in MS Word, Excel, and PPT...YAY not only that, but it scrolls up/down and left/right.

Anyone know how i can get this to work in Firefox?

did you upgrade to the latest drivers (i'm assuming you did which is why it works in Word now?) You can check with lenovo again and see if there's newer ones or wait for Firefox to update or Lenovo again.

I hate the 'wave effect' I get when scrolling pages in Opera browser. Have any Opera users found a way to get it to scroll normally?
