#1 Post by qazthinkzaq » Sun Aug 19, 2007 4:46 pm

Hi,
does anyone know what thats meaning and haw to solv this worning?

\Device\ACPIEC: The embedded controller (EC) hardware returned data when none was requested. This may indicate that the BIOS is incorectly trying to access the EC without syncronizing with the OS. The data is being ignored.

win xp pro

Do you use the thinkpad fancontrol utility or notebook hardware control?

Are the BIOS and Controller versions compatible with each other?
The Lenove website indicates which BIOS runs with which Controller.
