Vista Crashes NON-stop !! Help

#1 Post by jamess » Thu Aug 23, 2007 8:29 am

"[insert_Service name]" has Stopped working and was closed
"A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will notify you if solution is available".

I get this message a couple times a day using different programs. This particularly with BitDefender, Microsoft Office 2007 etc.

What is wrong, what should I do?

Thanks

This is getting really annoying! I can't even close MS Excel 2007 properly,... it always says - stopped working blah blah.

And that's it. After that, it runs some sort of Office Diagnostics saying that MS excel has crashed many times recenty... And diagnostics of course generate a report saying everything is just fine... What now?!

That's not much information. Please look in your Computer Logs in Event Viewer (WinKey and type Event Viewer in the search box). Look in the System and Application Events for errors.

Office Diagnostics has determined that there is some evidence of repeated problems.
