DVD burner access on Network

DVD burner access on Network
is there a way i can share my DVDRW on my PC on the network to where burning software on my laptop can access it?
Thinkpad Yoga 14 S1
I believe Rescue and Recovery will do what you need. I haven't actually tried to do anything like that though.

The only problem while burning optical media through shared drives via ethernet or wireless is the network latency. Sometimes even with buffer underrun protection, a faster drive can timeout waiting for more data to pour in for it to write to the media.

neroNET is the other thing you need and is basically designed to do that. You can install it on the host machine and then the client. The client can send the data over a LAN more than fast enough to burn at decent speeds. CDRs are like 4MB/s but DVDs max at 22MB/s which 100Mbit/s LAN couldn't handle. Fastest you can do is 8x or 2x over wireless.
