Updating intel driver messed up windows settings

#1 Post by pipspeak » Thu Aug 30, 2007 2:22 pm

I just updated my Intel wireless driver package and somehow the process managed to screw up some windows settings.

I never used to have to login when starting windows but now I do (even though I have not set a password). And when I hit alt-ctrl-del to bring up the task manager I get a menu of "Windows Security" options instead of just seeing the task manager.

How did the intel update manage to screw up all that?? And where do I start looking to fix it? Thanks.

Using the Search button on the top of the page, search for tvtgina. I believe you will find your answer in one of those threads.
