Uninstall Error 1720

#1 Post by o1sowise » Mon Sep 17, 2007 2:16 pm

Is there a way to force a program to uninstall?

Add or Remove Programs shows me the same program twice (I think, at least the names are the same).

If I try to uninstall either, I get:
Error 1720. There is a problem with the Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

You may consider trying Windows Installer Cleanup Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
