Anyone having problems installing the new update for Office 2003 - (SP3)?

Installed with no problems here.

After seeing your post, I went to Microsoft Office Update and chose to install SP3 and the Outlook Junk Mail update. The Outlook Junk Mail update installed fine, but SP3 failed. Next I downloaded the offline version, closed my internet security software, then ran the file. This time the SP3 update worked fine. Below is the link for the offline file.

I downloaded the file, stopped a number of system tray applications as I usually do (but not security) and SP3 installed on my ThinkPad without incident.

I tried to install on my Desktop without stopping any system tray applications, and it is certainly taking longer. In the middle of the install, I stopped the same applications on my Desktop as I did on my ThinkPad, and the Service Pack install is speeding up.

It is apparently picky. ... JDH
