Anyone use any diagnostic/optimizer software?

#1 Post by teknoT42 » Sat Nov 06, 2004 7:52 pm

Howdy,
Just writing to ask if anyone here uses any diagnostic or optimizing software such as sytem mechanic or tune up utilities 2004 or any other program?
Are they worth while? Do they work? Which ones?
cheers

I'm sure there are many good ones out there but I'm content with just Norton Utilities and RegScrubXP.

I'm not sue if you can, I never tried. I should have quoted SystemWorks anyway, because it's OBC (One Button Checkup) feature that I use always, it checks the registry, programs, etc. But I've found that RegScrubXP finds even more trash in the registry and it's free.
