Add folder to the right side of the Windows XP start menu?

#1 Post by propellen » Sat Oct 20, 2007 5:54 am

Is it possible to add folder shortcuts to the right upper side of the start menu? Or is it _only_ possible to add shortcuts to the left side?

PS.:
I know its possible to change the target path of the existing folders; "My documents", "My Music" ++

This probably isn't as elegant a solution as you'd like, but check out this site:

If you don't have the favorites menu you can add it in the Start Menu Properties-->Customize-->Advanced.

I see.
No, its not quite what I'm after.
But thanks mate :)

I think this demands quite a bit of registry hacking, and I'm not sure if i want to bother with it..
The way I'm doing it now, is just typing the paths to the directories directly in "run".

Use Classic menus and then it is easy to add items to the start button. ... JDH
