How to fix flash on IE7

I can't play flash videos on my IE7. how do i fix it? i already went to this http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download ... kwaveFlash site. however reinstalling it didn't help. Any suggestions. Right now im stuck with portable fireforx which i would like to get rid off.

Also, if you have Quicktime installed, it probably tries to 'dominate' flash-files (xxx.swf) as well. Check your file associations and/or UNinstall that crap Quicktime.

quicktime is gone. but i need a replacement....
IE7 flash still doesn't work. Firefox works without any problem. the website was quite informative but didn't have fix to this issue.
