WTF!? When I try to "Shrink" the C: drive (partition size 28GB), it will only let me do 342MB's, even though 10,000MB's (10GB) of space is unused. What gives here? And why 342MB?
Thanks for any replies.

If you are trying to get rid of XP then delete the partition, and then expand the Vista partition. I believe that shrinking in Vista does not permit one to shrink to zero free space.Crunch wrote:I am trying to basically get rid of XP, so I'll leave a barebones version on the C: partition with nothing installed, and shrink it down to as much as it will let me. What do you guys (or anyone else) think? Good idea? Better solution?
Thanks again!
ThinkPad T60p T7600 4 GB RAM 320 GB 7200 RPM HD Vista Ultimate Service Pack 2 5.1 4.7 4.2 4.6 5.8I thought about that. What will happen to drive letters? XP is on my C: partition, and Vista on my E: drive, a Primary partition, and C: is the one set to active.DAH wrote:If you are trying to get rid of XP then delete the partition, and then expand the Vista partition.
