nvidia context menu not availible in vista

#1 Post by chadwicktr » Tue Dec 25, 2007 11:30 am

My T61 shipped w/ vista, but I wanted to stick with XP until SP1 came out which I thought would have happened by now, but looks like it may be a few more weeks...

Anyway, I've made the switch over to Vista and now I've lost the nvidia context menu I had in XP that would let me set a window to be Always on Top, and control other settings like transparency. (To enable it in XP go to the Nvidia Control Panel>View>Add Desktop Context Menu).

Searching nvidia's help gave this reason: NOTE: This menu option does not appear under Windows Vista.

I am going to miss this feature, is there any workaround, or perhaps another utility somebody uses to replace the context menu?

What O/S are you running?

The option does appear in the control panel, but it doesn't change anything (vista).

Grrrr
