For instace, when the computer is in Suspend Mode don´t wake up, I mean, I try to wheter open the lid or press the Fn button the computer hang (freezes) and then I need to restart it again. The same with Hibernation Mode.

What I can do?, somebody can help me please?. Thanks a lot.

A ThinkPad of that vintage may not have proper ACPI power management drivers for XP. If not, you can't do anything about your problem. I have seen that before. ... JDHurst

Sorry If I´m late, but I was out of the city. I have the latest ACPI Driver for Windows XP from IBM, but the problem persists. Somebody told me something about update the BIOS but I don´t like that, I´m just afraid to do that. There is something to do with hard disk firmware?. Another thing, the computer had like an invisible partition for recovery programs or something originally from IBM. Well accidentally I have deleted that partition when I installed the Win XP, have to do with that?, If so, there is something I can do to recover that partition?. Thanks.
