What else was going to be in Vista??

Which components were going to be part of the Vista operating system, but didn't come to fruition due to the (usual) delays? Vista made the Top 10 Worst Software list, albeit at #10, by CNET. That also gets them mentioned first.

I was surprised, but I do agree that Vista is more of a "want" than a "need". I love Vista, but I could just as easily do what I use my computer for with XP.

UAC is mentioned a lot, and I see how it is a double-edged sword. Many people hate it, but it serves a highly useful purpose and is a great security feature. I don't mind the extra clicking whatsoever, but for those who have such tremendous dismay for it (), you CAN turn it off (or "down").

So what was left out? What was scaled back? Hmmm...
