thinkpad button remap aka 'access ibm'

That key has nothing to do with the ThinkPad button.

You bet but just so you know, that key relates to the item below "Run" in right-hand side of the XP's non-classic Start Menu. I have the instructions in my homepage under Tweaks+Cosmetics+Start Menu to add or remove an item there.

I like to map the windows key so I can use it for multiple shortcuts such as
WindowsKey+D hide desktop (press again, return desktop)
WindowsKey+F Find Files
WindowsKey+E Open Windows Explorer
WindowsKey+R Open Run command box.
