how to transfer outlook express files in windows vista

#1 Post by rbi » Tue Feb 05, 2008 5:04 am

I would like to keep all the email addresses and files and can still open them in my new machine with vista business. My old T23 has got the win2000 professional and outlook express 6. So how can I do it. Many thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks andyP. It works to some extent. I can't import my inbox and sent mails and draft and deleted files. I set up a few subfolders in my inbox in the old machine and there are rules attached to it. The subfolders content can be imported but not the general mails without rules in the inbox as well as sent mails which have no rules or subfolders.

What should I do?

I must confess to not having tried it myself, but at least the post got you part of the way.
Hopefully someone else can help you with the rest.
