So two questions, do I need to check the rundll32 process (the computer has been running fine these past few weeks) and is it true that rundll32 was created in 1980?

Rundll32
I was looking at my startup list and the rundll32 was unchecked all this time in the startup list on my X41. I thought this was a critical process. Under the rundll32 file, it states that it was created in 1980.
So two questions, do I need to check the rundll32 process (the computer has been running fine these past few weeks) and is it true that rundll32 was created in 1980?

It doesn't seem to be running on my computer. It is there to run DLL's, but I don't know what causes it to run. My T41 has most everything running on it as well.
I found it in the system32 folder and it does say Created in 1980. It also says Modified in 2004 which is about the time my hard drive crashed and I rebuilt the system.
If it is not running and your computer is working well (mine is), then there is probably nothing wrong. ... JDH
