SP1 and Stop Error

#1 Post by Perdu » Thu Apr 03, 2008 1:39 pm

After installing SP1 my T61 blue screens with a stop error when waking up from sleep or hybination. Any ideas on how to fix this (besides uninstalling SP1?)

Thanks.

No problem with suspending and waking up my T61 with Vista Business 64 SP1 installed. I just hibernated (Oh how I wish I really could) and had no problem. ... JDH

If you're looking for a way to use hibernation instead of Vista's Hybrid Sleep mode then this article may be helpful. Pardon me if I misunderstood your comment.

I can hibernate the ThinkPad just fine. I was sighing over I cannot hibernate myself. ... JDH

Are there any other thoughts on this, because I had the same problem immediately after installing SP1. I then uninstalled it, and the stop error still occurs... help!

EDIT:

Found the solution here:
